We are delighted to have been invited to sponsor the Enterprising Person category of this year’s Rossendale Business Awards.
As a winner of, not just the Large Business award but, the overall Valley At Work category back in 2022, and a finalist again last year, it’s a great honour to give back and celebrate the success of our peers in the valley, particularly manufacturers and those unsung suppliers who help businesses to keep running.
The awards are an annual showcase for the achievements, quality and diversity of the local businesses and enterprising people who make Rossendale such a great place to live, work and visit.
The winner of this award will be someone working in their own business, or a local organisation who is a strong, independent, confident leader. They will be, in the opinion of the judging panel, an inspiration for other people who may be considering a leadership role or starting or growing their own business. Nominees will be asked to describe:
- How their leadership style and skills have brought distinct benefits to their business/organisation.
- Improved business performance since April 2023 as a result of their leadership style and skills
- How their experiences might inspire others to become business owners or leaders.
Nominate your favourite businesses from across the Valley, here
The awards will take place on Saturday 30th November at The Ashcroft, Whitworth

The winner was Kelsea Bennett from Cotton Shed Theatre
Barry Hyde received Highly Commended
Finalists were Bruni Inez of Crust Bacup and Mark Shea from Mini & Mighty
