In many production systems, products need to be reoriented between stages. The ROTATETEK cross-rotation conveyor is designed to lift and rotate products within a conveyor system, allowing orientation to be changed before returning the product to the line or transferring it to the next stage.

Using a heavy-duty lifting and rotation mechanism, the system enables products to be turned in controlled increments, ensuring accuracy and eliminating manual handling.

Operation

Products are conveyed onto the machine in a standard horizontal position.

A heavy-duty ‘X’ frame lifting mechanism raises the product from the conveyor surface. Once lifted, the system rotates the product in controlled increments—typically 90°, 180°, or 270°.

After rotation, the product is lowered back onto the conveyor, where it can either continue along the same line or be transferred to the next stage of the system.
