Earlier this month, we proudly committed to the Armed Forces Covenant.

We are now delighted to announce that we have received the Bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) recognises commitment and support from UK employers for defence personnel. The scheme comprises Bronze, Silver and Gold awards for employers who support those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces and their families, and businesses who pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community. It encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.

The UK government is committed to supporting the armed forces community by working with a range of partners who have signed the covenant. The covenant is a national responsibility involving government, businesses, local authorities, charities and the public.
